Open the PagePixel popup on the page you want to capture, choose Full Page, and click Capture. PagePixel scrolls the page automatically, takes a screenshot at each step, and stitches every slice into one tall image.

• Delay before capture (ms) — how long PagePixel waits after each scroll step before capturing. Increase this on pages with lazy-loaded images or animated content so it has time to render.
• Capture bottom to top — reverses the scroll direction. Useful on pages where scrolling downward triggers layout shifts, infinite-load jank, or a footer that breaks top-down stitching.
• Sticky and fixed-position elements (like sticky headers/navbars) are automatically hidden during capture so they don't appear duplicated at every scroll step.

Choose Visible Area and click Capture to grab exactly what's currently on screen — no scrolling. This is the fastest capture mode and is ideal for a single viewport's worth of content.

Choose Selected Area and click Capture. The popup closes and your cursor becomes a crosshair — click and drag over the page to draw a rectangle around the region you want. Release the mouse to capture just that region, or press Esc to cancel.

On the result screen, use the + / − zoom controls (25%–300%) to inspect your capture at any scale — zooming never changes the underlying image resolution.

Open the editor (the pencil icon) and choose the Crop tool to drag a rectangle over the area you want to keep, then click Apply Crop to permanently trim the image, or Cancel Crop to back out.

Click the pencil icon on the result screen to open the annotation toolbar:

• Pen — freehand drawing.
• Rectangle / Circle / Line / Arrow — drag to draw a shape.
• Text — click anywhere to place a text cursor, type, then press Enter or click away to commit it.
• Blur / Pixelate — drag a rectangle over any region (like a name, email, or account number) to obscure it.
• Crop — see section 4.

Use the color swatch and brush-size slider to style pen strokes, shapes, and text. Click Done to close the annotation toolbar — your edits stay on the image.

Click Copy on the result screen to copy the current image (with any annotations) straight to your clipboard as a PNG — no file is saved to disk. Paste it directly into Slack, Docs, an image editor, or anywhere else that accepts pasted images.

Choose an export format from the dropdown, then click Download:

• PNG — lossless, best for text-heavy screenshots and annotations.
• JPEG — smaller file size, best for photo-heavy captures.
• WEBP — modern format balancing quality and size.
• PDF — pick a page size (US Legal/Letter, A4, in landscape or portrait) to paginate a tall capture across multiple print-ready pages, or choose Full Image for a single continuous page with no pagination — best when the PDF is meant to be viewed digitally rather than printed.

• Ctrl/Cmd + Z — Undo
• Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z (or Ctrl/Cmd + Y) — Redo
• Enter — commit a text annotation
• Esc — cancel an in-progress region selection or text annotation
